With over 40 million people changing addresses annually, chances are that some of your addresses are undeliverable. In order for you, to get the best postal discounts, you should make sure that your mail can be delivered as addressed. That is where NCOA comes in!

You are probably asking yourself, “What are the benefits of NCOA?”

NCOA stands for National Change of Address. NCOA does the following:
1. Reduces undeliverable mail by providing the current address information for matches made to the NCOA file.
2. Prevents duplicate mail pieces because the address correction is made prior to mailing.
3. Reduces the time and money spent on updating manually.
4. Certifies your mailing for postal automation compatibility.

In order for NCOA to work, your address must be CASS-certified. Your mailing list is compared to the United States Post Office NCOA file. This file contains approximately 115 million records or 36 months of permanent address changes. If an exact match is made, NCOA will automatically replace the old address with the new address.
